Camacho is Puerto Rican-American and Afro-Latinx, who addresses both race and gender politics in her music. She's just released a stunning new track 'Open Eyes', which is part of Mexican Summer's Looking Glass series. Submerged in church-like reverb, duendita's unchained vocals fuse with spine-tingling piano. Skippy drumming creates an engaging rhythm for Stevie Wonder-style synth to lay across.
